This Commercial Use Policy defines the rights and restrictions for using content generated by reBacklog ("Service") for commercial purposes. Commercial use rights differ based on your subscription tier.

• Paid subscribers (Pro and Team plans) may use outputs commercially
• Free users and visitors may NOT use outputs commercially
• No liability is assumed for commercial outcomes regardless of tier

2. Commercial Use Rights by Tier

3. Definition of Commercial Use

"Commercial use" includes any use of reBacklog outputs that is primarily intended for or directed toward commercial advantage or monetary compensation. This includes but is not limited to:

• Using generated user stories for products or services you sell
• Including outputs in client deliverables for which you are compensated
• Using analyses to make business decisions for a for-profit entity
• Incorporating outputs into commercial software or SaaS products
• Using outputs in marketing materials for commercial products
• Any use within a for-profit company's operations

4. License Grant for Paid Subscribers

Subject to your active paid subscription and compliance with our Terms of Service, we grant you:

• Non-exclusive License: You may use the outputs, but we may grant similar rights to others.
• Non-transferable License: You may not transfer, sell, or sublicense your rights to third parties.
• Worldwide License: You may use outputs anywhere in the world.
• Perpetual License: You may continue to use outputs generated during your subscription even after cancellation, subject to these terms.

5. Restrictions on All Users

Regardless of subscription tier, you may NOT:

• Resell Outputs: Sell, license, or redistribute raw outputs from the Service as a standalone product or service.
• Claim AI Authorship: Misrepresent AI-generated content as solely human-created when disclosure would be material.
• Infringe Rights: Use outputs in ways that infringe on third-party intellectual property rights.
• Illegal Purposes: Use outputs for any illegal or fraudulent purpose.
• Harm Others: Use outputs to deceive, defame, or harm others.
• Compete: Use our Service to build a competing product that replicates our core functionality.

6. Third-Party Service Compliance

When using reBacklog outputs commercially, you must also comply with the terms of third-party services involved:

• Google Gemini: Your use of AI-generated content must comply with Google's Terms of Service and Generative AI Acceptable Use Policy.
• Export Destinations: When exporting to Trello, Linear, or Feishu, you must comply with their respective terms regarding content ownership and use.
• Google Search Console: GSC data integration is subject to Google's Terms of Service. You may only access properties you are authorized to manage.

7. Attribution

Attribution to reBacklog is not required but is appreciated. If you wish to attribute, you may use:

"Generated with reBacklog (rebacklog.ai)"

You may NOT imply endorsement by reBacklog of your products, services, or business without our written permission.

8. Enforcement

Violation of this Commercial Use Policy may result in:

• Immediate suspension or termination of your account
• Revocation of commercial use rights
• Legal action to protect our rights and interests
• Billing for commercial use at our Team tier rates

We reserve the right to investigate potential violations and take appropriate action.
