All payments made to reBacklog are final and non-refundable. This includes, but is not limited to:

• Monthly subscription fees
• Annual subscription fees
• Any one-time purchases or add-ons
• Partial billing periods
• Unused portions of a subscription

By making a payment, you acknowledge and agree that you will not be entitled to a refund for any reason, including but not limited to:

• Dissatisfaction with the AI-generated content or analysis quality
• Failure to achieve expected business outcomes from using our recommendations
• Decision to cancel before the end of your billing period
• Forgetting to cancel before renewal
• Change of mind or circumstances
• Duplicate purchases (please contact support immediately in this case)

2. Why We Have This Policy

reBacklog provides immediate access to our AI-powered analysis and generation tools upon subscription. Unlike physical goods, digital services cannot be "returned" once accessed. Our no-refund policy exists because:

• Immediate Delivery: You receive full access to our service immediately upon payment.
• AI Processing Costs: Each analysis incurs real costs for AI processing, which cannot be recovered.
• Free Trial Available: We offer a generous free tier that allows you to evaluate the service before committing to a paid plan.
• Abuse Prevention: This policy prevents abuse of our service through repeated subscriptions and refund requests.

3. Before You Subscribe

To ensure reBacklog is right for you, we strongly recommend that you:

• Use the Free Tier: Our free plan allows you to perform website analyses and generate user stories, giving you a clear understanding of what the service offers.
• Review Output Quality: Evaluate the quality of AI-generated content to ensure it meets your expectations.
• Read the Terms: Fully understand our Terms of Service, including the disclaimers about AI-generated content.
• Confirm Your Needs: Ensure the features offered in your chosen plan match your requirements.

By subscribing to a paid plan, you confirm that you have evaluated the service using the free tier and accept it as-is.

4. Subscription Cancellation

While we do not offer refunds, you may cancel your subscription at any time:

• How to Cancel: You can cancel through your account settings or by contacting our support team.
• Effect of Cancellation: Your subscription will remain active until the end of your current billing period. You will not be charged for future periods.
• No Partial Refunds: Cancellation does not entitle you to a refund for any unused portion of your current billing period.
• Reactivation: You may resubscribe at any time, subject to then-current pricing.

5. Automatic Renewal

All subscriptions automatically renew at the end of each billing period:

• Monthly Plans: Renew on the same date each month.
• Annual Plans: Renew on the anniversary of your subscription start date.

You will receive email reminders before automatic renewal. It is your responsibility to cancel before the renewal date if you do not wish to continue.

Failure to cancel before renewal does not entitle you to a refund for the renewed period.

6. Exceptional Circumstances

While our policy is strictly no refunds, we may consider exceptions at our sole discretion in the following circumstances:

• Technical Issues: If our service was completely unavailable for an extended period (more than 48 consecutive hours) and we are unable to provide service credits.
• Billing Errors: If you were charged incorrectly due to a technical error in our billing system.
• Duplicate Charges: If you were accidentally charged multiple times for the same subscription period.

In these cases, please contact us within 7 days of the issue at support@rebacklog.ai with details and supporting documentation. All decisions regarding exceptions are final and at our sole discretion.

7. Chargebacks and Disputes

If you file a chargeback or payment dispute with your bank or credit card company:

• Your access to reBacklog will be immediately suspended.
• We will provide evidence to the payment processor documenting your agreement to this policy.
• If the chargeback is found to be invalid, you may be responsible for any fees incurred.
• Your account may be permanently banned from our service.

We encourage you to contact us first at support@rebacklog.ai if you have any billing concerns. We are happy to help resolve issues directly.

8. Price Changes

We reserve the right to change our pricing at any time. If we increase prices:

• Existing subscribers will be notified at least 30 days in advance.
• Annual subscribers will not be affected until their next renewal.
• You may cancel before the price change takes effect.

Price changes do not entitle you to a refund of any previous payments made at the earlier price.

9. Service Credits

In lieu of refunds, we may at our discretion offer service credits for:

• Extended service outages beyond 24 hours
• Major feature unavailability
• Other circumstances we deem appropriate

Service credits have no cash value and cannot be exchanged for refunds. They must be used within 12 months of issuance.

10. Legal Compliance

This refund policy is designed to comply with applicable consumer protection laws. In jurisdictions where our no-refund policy conflicts with mandatory consumer rights:

• European Union: EU consumers may have a 14-day cooling-off period for digital services. However, by accessing the service immediately upon purchase, you expressly consent to waive this right.
• Other Jurisdictions: Where local law requires refund rights that cannot be waived, those rights will apply to the extent required by law.
